Analysis
Sensemaker® supports respondents to analyse their own experience through two
specific tools - triads and dyads. When completing the survey respondents are
asked to describe their experience of Social Work services in their own words.
The second section sets out core concepts in the form of a statement with a
number of possible responses which can be mapped upon a triad or dyad. This is
known as self-indexing and illustrates the mass responses to each statement.
It is through the study of the patterns formed and the narrative behind the
responses that qualitative data can be analysed to present the key messages and
indicate actions to change the patterns going forward.
