UPDATE FROM Emerald Publishing
Social care research is more than just about supporting those in need. It's about drawing upon relevant
research outputs, combined with traditional practices, to provide the right care and support for those
facing difficulties throughout society. With the right attention, knowledge and application, social care
research can improve lives and give independence back to those most affected.
We've launched our latest campaign - 'What is social care research (and why is it important)?', to
explore the role of social care research in practice by showcasing research and author/editor insights
through an infographic, podcast, blogs and videos to delve deeper into the conversation. As you'll see,
we've posed several questions to further understand the concept; as when applied correctly it can
increase professionalism, workforce confidence and retention, and informed decisions back into the
community.
Take a look here to get a flavour for the content, all of which is free for you to access, download and share!
Let's work together - get in touch today if you'd like to contribute to this discussion, or have research
relevant around social care!
Best wishes,
Emerald Publishing
