Whilst unable to attend the 2023 event, John Devaney, formerly of QUB, now
Professor at Edinburgh University - through the benefit of social media and
ex-colleagues emailed to say
'I see that today is the tenth social work and social care research conference -
very well done to you all in Northern Ireland on maintaining the event through
some very challenging times, and upholding the quality of the presentations.
John was a keynote speaker in 2013 and gain when the first Research Strategy
was launched in 2015.
In introducing the day, Anne McGlade, organiser promised delegates and
exciting programme a range of keynotes, oral presentations and poster
presentations- intercepted with creative interludes and an opportunity to view
displays hosted by a variety of relevant organisations.
